Join us for our next Meet & Greet networking event—an Interactive Roundtable exploring the hospitality industry in Sardinia.

In this immersive session, we'll dive deep into the business of helping people to rest, recharge, socialize, and explore new places. Our interactive session features owners and operators of bars, hotels, and adventure tours who will talk about what goes on behind the scenes while the rest of us are having fun.

Unlike traditional presentations, this interactive format encourages engagement and questions from the audience. The EMC team will join the attendees, creating a collaborative environment where everyone's perspectives and experiences can be shared and discussed.

After the panel, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed networking session, where you can connect with like-minded professionals, exchange ideas, and build meaningful relationships.

About the guests

Federica Manca began her career in hospitality in 2013 at the Phoenix Pub in Assemini. In 2015, she moved to London to expand her experience in the field. She spent six years in the city, working in Camden Town with Glendola Leisure, a well-established company managing numerous pubs, hotels, and restaurants across the UK. During this time, she worked at the renowned World’s End – Underworld, part of a team of over 35 staff. Within a year, she was recognised as Bartender of the Year by the company. In December 2024, after coming back to Sardinia she opened The Londoner in Cagliari, bringing a touch of London to her hometown.

Charlotte Fortier-Mutzl and Ari Gleizer
Originally from Québec, Charlotte grew up between Canada and the US before solo traveling Europe at 20. After becoming a yoga instructor in Barcelona, she taught in Rome's parks where she met her husband.
Ari grew up in New York City, before relocating to Europe. After trying university and sales jobs, Ari opened a bar in Rome at 22.
Ari and Charlotte live in Cagliari with their two children and multiple pets. Together they own a cocktail bar in Rome and develop vacation properties along the Sardinian coast, sharing their expat entrepreneurial journey on social media (link).

Marco Buonomo
Born in Naples, Marco felt a strong calling from Sardinia, where he has lived for the past eight years. A certified MTB instructor and regional sports guide, he left a career in sales and marketing to embark on a solo cycling journey from Europe to Indonesia and back, crossing 33 countries.
Today, he leads bike tours across Sardinia and runs RICONNETTIAMO—a project that uses cycling to reconnect with nature, local communities, and oneself, promoting slow, sustainable travel and meaningful connections with the land.
