EMC 9th Meetup - June

We are meeting two very talented and interesting individuals for the Fireside Chat, a bit more closely and know about their works, their passions and their failure.

1. Joe Petillon: He is the Co-Founder and COO of Corestrat. Joe has over two decades of experience in the finance and retail sector and has co-led the Intesa Sanpaolo Bank’s European open innovation program “Start-Up Initiative”. He is a serial 5x entrepreneur with expertise in business development, e-commerce and product management across North America, Europe and Asia. Having held many positions in financial services and franchise management in the US and Europe over the past 25 years, Joe specializes in venture capital, financial services and franchise management.
2. Chris Verbick : Originally from South Texas, started his first venture as a side project during his engineering studies in London. Around the same time he also set up an innovation studio, where he launched 5 products over 5 years. Now he is a technology innovation director at Business Design Tools, an on-demand support system with strategic tools for founders. He has taught at University of London and the Royal College of Art. He is also a part-time contractor for a German VC firm, working with the finance team and the partners.
